  13. I am looking to buy two 28.8K modems in Australia.
  14.  
  15. One is for my brother's desktop. He wants an internal or external V34 28800 Modem. He is looking at a Maestro for AUS$420. 
  16. Does this seem like an okay deal?

  18. The other is a PC Card for my Notebook. Currently looking at a Banksia PCM V34 28800 for AUS$599.

  20. Any recommendation most welcome.

  25. PS I know this really isn't relevant for ozemail.users. Does anyone know of an Australian newsgroup for discussing computer 
  26. hardware? The world-wide comp.xxxxx newsgroups are great but not so useful for Australians when it comes to talking prices.
